This page is designed to act as a resource for people in the DC area who are actively looking for a job. The idea is to make the job search easier by making it easier for job hunters to connect to local recruiters.

We do this by listing DC area recruiters who are active on the social networking platform, Twitter. We encourage job seekers to compile a list of those recruiters who specialize in their area of expertise, and to get in contact with those recruiters.

This type of networking can have several benefits for job hunters. Interacting with recruiters can help you improve your resume, hone your interviewing skills, and generally improve your ability to market yourself. In addition this type of networking can help you find out about jobs that never see the light of day on a job board.

Perhaps the greatest benefit to those seeking a job is that developing networking relationships with those in your industry allow you to stand out in the crowd. They allow you to be a name and a face, instead of just another resume piling up in someone's inbox.
